I Wanna Be a Project Alpha TV Star!

After watching the First season of Project Alpha, I believe there are many bloggers out there who are starting to crack their head to find ways to put themselves in the video. It was not easy to be selected, unless one's blog has thousands of consistent followers and the Alexa ranking's are in the range of 10K and below. I am one of them who aspire, working hard and writing smart to be featured in the coming Project Alpha.

I Wanna Be a Project Alpha TV Star because I want to do what they did (lazing around while being interviewed), go to where they went (walking in the wonderful London city), and have fun the way they did (Sunway Lagoon Theme Park). The most important thing is to plan for an adventure, participate in it and have no regrets after completing it. The experience and fun will overcome all the fear of the unknown and unfamiliar.

No matter how busy you are, become a fan of Project Alpha facebook and get the latest updates, especially on who will be coming to town and other bloggers aka "our competitors" contribution on the Instant Cash Blogging Contest. Project Alpha Season 3 aspiring guest bloggers, including myself should start sharpening our verbal and acting skill now. It is not everyday that we get this kind of chances to make ourselves well known.

Project Alpha Season 2 is presented by Adidas Action 3 and supported by P1 and MAS. Auditions are now open! Check it out at www.projectalpha.com.my/auditions or projectalpha.ruumz.com/groups.

N-Viro International Corporation

I am currently researching for environmental-related article to write for publication, and I was introduced to the N-Viro International Corporation, a US-based company that develops and licenses its environmental friendly technology to municipalities and private companies. Their patented technologies transform waste into reusable products. What they are doing should be interesting, as they are using municipal waste and bio solids which can be abundantly found in any cities. They have generated sales in excess of $40 million dollars since its initial public offering in October of 1993.

The N-Viro technologies involve the mixing of municipal bio solids with specific alkaline waste products from the coal combustion electric generation, cement and lime industries. This process stabilizes organic waste through pasteurization and complete disinfection. Eventually, it will convert wastewater sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value. This is a brilliant use of idea to convert waste to energy, and encourages the search of alternative energy for sustainable development.

The patented N-Viro Process can produce the multi-functional N-Viro Soil for agricultural use as a bio-organic and mineral fertilizer with agricultural liming and nutrient values, as landfill cover material, as a topsoil blending ingredient and for land reclamation projects. Its BioDry technology is designed to decrease the time needed to dry the biosolids product as well as decreasing the footprint of the drying facility.

N-Viro BioBlend patented technology is used to accelerate the composting of yard waste and other green waste materials.

N-Viro Fuel is a newly developed and patented biomass fuel that has physical and chemical characteristics similar to coal and is created from municipal biosolids and other organic wastes like manure and pulp and paper sludge. An important advantage of the waste biomass-derived fuel is the ammonia that is released from the wastes in the process. This ammonia is available to be used as a substitute for ammonia or urea for NOx removal. Thus, clean coal is made possible by the N-Viro technology.

For more information and better understanding of this patented technologies to produce renewable energy and opportunity fuels, or the company itself, you can visit the following website, and view the introductory video below.

No Sweat!

I like, love and always looking forward to the opportunity to do traveling. What I meant by traveling is to explore, see, feel and experience in another man's country with no heavy burden of thinking about work and bosses call. Doing my own planning and working up the itinerary are the usual preparation before embarking on accomplishing my travel plans so that my loved one and I can travel with peace of mind and with No Sweat! at all.

Europe is our top choice in terms of destination. There are just too many exciting and unusual places in Europe for us to explore. Going there in Autumn will be great for heavy walker like us, where burning calories comes with No Sweat advantage. We had this opportunity to make a self planned, and self guided trip to Paris, Barcelona, Venice and Rome two years back. It was more or less a backpacking trip and since it was a two weeks long trip, we were thankful for the kind weather as we got less laundry issue to worry about.

A note to would-be traveler; bringing a deodorant is important and I would recommend Adidas Action 3 deodorant since you would be moving around so much that the mileage done would be equivalent to a sportsman's routine exercise. With Adidas Action 3, you can travel in peace and at ease.

My Favourite Surfing Spot

My favourite surfing spot has to be my living room. The reason is because I have a TV in front of me, and sometimes I got the idea to blog from the show I was watching. I placed a Japanese short table on my living room that double up as my work station. I usually sit on the floor surfing, blogging, or working while having my favourite Super Charcoal-roasted White Coffee in a big mug.

My next plan is to increase the built up area, make it cosy and add some accessories such as the Ikea Lack table, Ikea Skimra shade and feng shui table top fountain so that I can have brilliant ideas to tackle Nuffnang's blogging contest such as the Project Alpha Season 2 and also better luck and prosperity in choosing the killer stocks from the Bursa Malaysia list.

Talking about Project Alpha Season 2, it seems to be making a strong comeback this year as I can see they are roping in Azwan Ali as one of the featured bloggers. Make sure you keep a constant eye on the Nuffnang website for the current update on this event. Project Alpha Season 2 is presented by Adidas Action 3 and supported by P1 and MAS.

Malaysia Boleh lagi! : Tan Boon Heong

Saw this news from The Star today. It was a proud to know that we have another Guinness World Record holder. Malaysia Boleh lagi!!

Tan Boon Heong, our top badminton doubles player owns the world record of smashing the shuttlecock that was so fast, it flew at a blistering speed of 421kph. This was faster than a zooming F1 car along the straight, which could only go till around 400kph. In other words, it was like making my journey from KL and reaching Sungai Petani in 1 hr time via North South Highway.

I think we should salute this chap, and he should be on the forefront list of incoming Datuk or Dato' due to the following reasons:
1) It was achieved on his own initiative
2) The result came after many years of hard work
3) He did it while fighting with the word "Malaysia" proudly displayed on his back

4) It was not a government sponsored effort

Best Bits of Project Alpha Season 1

I am happy to see Project Alpha is making a stronger comeback with his lineup of featured bloggers. Though I have yet to take sneak preview on what to offer, this contest is certainly making me wake up and be more alert on the updates from the Project Alpha Season 2. The creative peoples of Nuffnang and generous sponsors are a good bunch of people who are born to make people happy. What I mean is the "Instant Cash Blogging" contest.

Well, this is the first week, and we are supposed to express our views on the "Best Bits of Project Alpha Season 1". I would nominate 2 moments, which I think stood out in terms of the content presentation and originality. I can't recall seeing such moments in any local interviews.

My Best Bits List:

1) Kenny Sia's Project Alpha (Video 6)

In this video, Kenny was joined by a close gal friend, Erica and they were asked about a contest where they participated as a lover, and all the questions were related to private stuff. I'm surprised they really shared out the answer when asked to name "Your partner's favourite position". Of course, they didn't get it correct since they were not a couple, but I respected their guts in saying it out for the world to know. Though the answer could be faked la...

You can see Kenny's paiseh face when he was teased for answering the so-called conventional and boring "Missionary" position. It was indeed not an easy question to answer, even in a closed door interview. I also learned something from this; "Inverted cowgirl" position. Wonderful!

2) Beautiful Nara's Project Alpha (Video 7)
We got to know from Project Alpha that Beautiful Nara and Budiey were entertainment gossip bloggers and of course, tense rivalry will come in when you put them together in an interview.

I got a sense of nostalgia when I view that video. I felt like I was Beautiful Nara, and my eldest brother was Budiey when we were young kids. Budiey was the cool buddy, always feeling composed even when he was being teased by Beautiful Nara. While Beautiful Nara was the clown who felt that the "big brother" Budiey was always superior than he was and hacking him down was the way to make him stand out.

Of course, at the end, Budiey did get his chance to kenakan Beautiful Nara when he instructed the cashier to delay Beautiful Nara's payment. Haha..

It was an oversight on my part to forget to put the above tag and logo at the end of the post. No wonder I didn't get the cash. Promised myself not to repeat the same mistake. (added)
